15 Happiness Quotes to Change the Way You Think

“People are just as happy as they make up their minds to be.”
―Abraham Lincoln

It usually isn’t what you have, where you are, or what you’ve been through that makes you happy or unhappy, it’s how you think about it all.  It starts on the inside.  You control your thoughts.  The only person who can hurt your happiness in the long run is YOU.
  1. It only takes one person to make you happy and change your life:  YOU.
  2. Your life will improve only when you take small chances, and the first and most difficult chance you can take is to be honest with yourself.
  3. Stop focusing on how stressed you are and remember how blessed you are.  It could be so much worse.
  4. It is not what happens to you, but how you respond to what happens to you.  Count your blessings while others are adding up their troubles.
  5. Look for something positive about this moment.  Even if you have to look a little harder than usual, it still exists.
  6. When you smile about the life you live, you end up living a life worth smiling about.
  7. Remember, social comparison is the thief of happiness.  You could spend a lifetime worrying about what others have, but it wouldn’t get you anything.
  8. Happiness comes more easily when you feel good about yourself without feeling the need for anyone else’s approval.
  9. Be nice to people on your way up because you might meet them again on your way back down.
  10. Set an example. Treat everyone with kindness and respect, even those who are rude to you – not because they are nice, but because you are.
  11. Kindness is not to be mistaken for weakness, nor forgiveness for acceptance.  It’s about knowing resentment of any kind is not on the path to happiness.
  12. Give as much as you can, but don’t allow yourself to be used.  Listen to others closely, but don’t lose your own voice.
  13. Say what you need to say.  Speak your truth.  There is no greater sadness than holding on to the words you never had the courage to speak.
  14. You can’t change how people treat you or what they say about you.  All you can do is change how you react and who you choose to be around.
  15. Negative company will never give you a positive life.  Examine what you tolerate in the long-term.

Always have it at back of your mind that life is like a roller coaster, live it, be happy, enjoy life.

Word Of Wisdom

Ponder on these.............

1. Being alone does not mean you are lonely, and being lonely does not mean you are alone.

3. Love and appreciate your parents. We are often so busy growing up,we forget they are also growing old.
4. Learn to love yourself first, instead of loving the idea of other people loving you.
5. When someone tells you, "you have changed",don't get worried,it might be because you've stopped living your life their way.
6. A girl can be your best friend, worst enemy,a real soul mate,or a bitch. It all depends on how you treat her.

    “Dare to Be

When a new day begins, dare to smile gratefully.

He described the experience in December 2004 to the Daily Mail:
"The waiting was terrible for a few days. I didn’t know what was going to happen to me. It was a horrible wait, then I heard the news was good and it was a massive relief.

    He told the Daily Mirror:
"It is part of sport, just a moment, a snapshot,” said Robben. “But it will be part of me and part of my career for all of my life. But it is the past and we are focused on this game, so it doesn’t count anymore."

    Believe In Yourself

Those who mistrust their own abilities are being too wicked to themselves, discouraging themselves from doing what they should have been excelling in. If you are good at discouraging yourself, you can't be a good leader because leadership is built on inspiring others to face challenges, so don't pretend to be what you're not, instead, pretend to what you want to be, it is not pretense, it is a journey to self realization.Encourage yourself, believe in yourself, and love yourself.Never doubt who you are.

    Never Give Up

Stay humble and wait on your blessings they will surely come to you, because great things take time to come to reality,so never give up on something you really want. The best things come to those who never give up,though it's difficult to wait, but the worse is to regret not waiting.A perfect relationship isn't perfect,it's just that both people never give up.You don't have to be pessimistic about things that you belief in,you just have to be determined no matter how hard, tough,or frustrating the situation might be,just don't give up because GOD never give up on you.......Nm chichawiz

    How to Be Optimistic

    How to Be Optimistic

Are you an optimist or a pessimist? Do you expect the best or the worst to happen?
    • Being an optimist does not mean that you are out of touch with reality, ignoring difficulties and obstacles, and behaving in a naive way.
    • Being an optimist means that you hope and expect events and plans to turn out well, and that you look with a smile on the future.
It is important to be a balanced optimist, using common sense, not just telling yourself that nothing bad can ever happen and closing your eyes to reality. Doing so, can lead to being impractical, making poor decisions, and letting people ridicule or take advantage of you.
Being optimistic doesn't mean waiting for things to happen by themselves. It means expecting the best, believing that the best will happen, but at the same time making decisions, following them, acting and making things happen.
Why be an optimist? Because optimism keeps you motivated and energetic, pursuing what you want with ambition, confidence and happiness. It helps you focus on your vision, and makes everyday a happy day.

Tips on How to be Optimistic

    1. Don't get angry with yourself if you find yourself feeling pessimistic. Acknowledge that it is only natural to feel pessimistic at times, when life is boring or when you encounter difficulties or hardships.
    2. Acknowledge that changing your mental attitude takes time, so be patient.
    3. Keep a list of motivational and inspiring quotes handy, and read them several times a day.
    4. At least once a day listen to music, your favorite songs or some inspiring or relaxing music.
    5. Exercise your body often and regularly.
    6. At least once a day do something that makes you happy and satisfied. This can be anything, even some minor activity or action like eating something you love, watching a favorite T.V. program, reading or talking to a friend.
    7. Try to smile more often.
    8. Take more care of your appearance and how you dress. When you look good you will feel more confident and positive.
    9. Endeavor to see the good in every situation.
    10. Have enough sleep at night. When don't sleep enough or don't sleep well you can get moody, unhappy and impatient. Good sleep will make you more energetic, alive, optimistic and feeling good.
    11. If you can, avoid the company of negative.
    12. Learn to accept the past, leave it behind and continue to better things. Wallowing in the past creates unhappiness and lack of optimism.
An optimist sees an opportunity in every calamity; a pessimist sees a calamity in every opportunity.
